Artscape Theatre, Cape Town: 16 - 25 October 2009
Following a number of successful collaborations with a range of theatre directors, Jazzart has engaged eminent South African theatre director, writer and producer, Lara Foot, to direct a multidisciplinary production which premieres at Artscape in Cape Town in October 2009.

Drawing on research conducted by Lara and her team this production explores the narrative of conflict and violence. They will engage with that which is unspoken ... a silent language which begins to occupy the space between words and conveys lived memory, the language of speechless terror. The production encompasses a landscape of reality and violence as well as a dreamscape, a magic space, where anything is possible.

Supported by National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund (NLDTF), Artscape, The Lorenzo and Stella Chiappini Charitable Trust, Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Distell, GrandWest Cape Culture and Heritage Foundation and National Arts Council.
